Delete your FamSynch account

Applies to the FamSynch app for iOS and Android, published by Saurabh Kumar Mishra.

Delete it yourself, in the app

The fastest way is in the app. It takes about three taps and does not require contacting us.

  1. Open FamSynch and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and personal data are permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days.

Request deletion instead

If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject line Delete My Account. We verify ownership of the address and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Delete some of your data, without closing your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data from FamSynch. Everything below is available inside the app and takes effect straight away.

For anything not covered above, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject line Delete My Data, telling us what you would like removed. We respond within 14 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Your account stays open.

What is deleted when you delete your account, and what is kept

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by FamSynch. Cancel yours in the App Store or Play Store subscription settings before deleting your account, otherwise billing continues.
What happens to your family and your circles. If you are the only parent with a login in your family, the family and everything in it is deleted. If another parent still has a login, the family and its events remain for them, and your profile is unlinked from your account. Circles you own are handed to the longest-standing remaining member; a circle with no one left in it is deleted.
